Heather was born and raised in Robertson County, Tennessee. While attending Greenbrier High School, she was actively involved with HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America) and Mock Trial. After graduating High School, she attended Middle Tennessee State University on academic scholarship and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology. While in college, Heather was actively involved with AMTA (American Mock Trial Association) and participated in Mock Trial Competitions.
Heather received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law where she received an academic scholarship and was actively involved in the Health Law Society and the Trial Advocacy Competition Team. While in law school, Heather clerked with The Fleming Law Firm & Mediation Center and the Honorable Judge Ross. H. Hicks of the Circuit Court for the 19th Judicial District of Tennessee.
Upon receiving her Tennessee Bar License in 2016, Heather practiced as an associate attorney for firms in Clarksville and Springfield before co-founding Jones, Green, & Tackett Law, PLLC, where she now practices in a variety of areas. When she isn’t practicing law, Heather enjoys playing with her dogs, Ghost and Mr. Noodle.
